While studying painting at Pratt Institute, I worked on pouring pools of watercolor
on paper which was lying flat, and manipulating the surfaces as the colors dried. It
was important to me that the shapes created themselves. I made a series of these
watercolors and later photographed the details of the edges that were formed.
